Discover the Benefits of Cutera XEO LimeLight IPL at Skinovate

At Skinovate Clinic, we’re excited to introduce the Cutera XEO LimeLight IPL — a professional, light-based treatment designed to support clearer, more balanced-looking skin. This non-invasive technology uses carefully controlled pulses of light to target areas of skin discolouration and visible surface irregularities, helping to enhance the overall appearance and tone of the skin.

What is LimeLight IPL?

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a broad-spectrum light treatment that can be customised to suit different skin types and concerns. The LimeLight handpiece, part of the Cutera XEO platform, delivers gentle, targeted light to selected areas of the skin. This light energy is absorbed by specific pigments, which can then be naturally cleared by the body over time.

At Skinovate, LimeLight IPL is commonly used to address the visible effects of sun exposure, skin discolouration, and redness, particularly on the face, neck, and chest.

How Does It Work?

LimeLight uses pulses of visible light that are absorbed by pigment in the skin. The energy helps to gently break down targeted areas, which are gradually reduced in appearance through the skin’s natural processes. Treatments are customised based on individual skin needs and concerns, ensuring a tailored approach to care.

What to Expect

  • Treatment Time: Approx. 30–45 minutes

  • Sensation: A mild, warm flicking or snapping sensation

  • Downtime: Minimal — you may experience temporary redness or darkening of pigmentation as the skin responds

  • Visible Changes: Most clients begin to notice visible improvement within a few weeks of treatment, with optimal results after a course of sessions

Important Notes

LimeLight IPL is a cosmetic treatment and results can vary from person to person. A full skin consultation is required prior to treatment to assess suitability, provide informed consent, and ensure your skin is appropriately prepared.

SPF is essential before and after IPL treatments to protect the skin and support long-term results.
